DENGUE CASES REPORTED

PESHAWAR: 38 Dengue cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Geo News reported. The provincial government has set up a special fund of Rs 55 million to deal with the virus.

Chief Secretary KP Ghullam Dastagir Akhter said all steps were being taken to tackle the Dengue virus and that a special fund had been set up. 

Akhter added the fund would be used to acquire pesticides to kill dengue mosquitoes and to conduct seminars to educate the residents of the province. Out of the 112 cases reported, 38 have tested positive for the Dengue virus in the province.
